Hello world: Proudly Serving
A community project that proves the power of collective civic collaboration.
“Proudly Serving: Public service with and for the people” has officially launched.
This is a collection of 25 chapters from more than 20 contributors who care deeply about public service and are actively working to make it better.
The book is practical and easy to read. It covers a wide range of topics relevant to today’s public servants.
You can buy the book at cost or read it for free (web, ebook, PDF, and other formats).
This book is about public service, and it’s also an example of it. It shows what can happen when people come together with a common purpose, stick with something over time, and build something bigger than any one person could on their own.
I’m very proud of what we’ve done together and happy to see it launched into the world. Thank you to everyone who made it happen.
Extra thanks to:
Morgan Griffin and Echa Schneider for editing
Adam Moorman for design
Marlena Medford and Kirsten Wyatt for helping with lift off
Luke Fretwell for all the things
